IN a move to enable more people to become qualified accountants in Malaysia, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) has announced the launch of the MIA Qualifying Examinations (MIA QE) as an alternative pathway for accounting, business and finance graduates to qualify as accountants.
The examination is intended to cater to aspiring accountants who do not possess a qualification recognised by MIA as stated in Part One and Part Two of the First Schedule of the Accountants Act 1967.
