EQUIPPED with soil thermometers, wind and light meters, compasses and sling spectrometers, second-year Diploma in Forestry students of Universiti Putra Malaysia got closer to nature during a field trip recently.
The one-day trip to the Ayer Hitam forest reserve in Puchong, Selangor, was their first practical under the subject of Forest Silviculture.
