Swiss brand banks on Asia

Models parading the latest Mido’s Commander Caliber 80 Chronometer during the recent launch in Japan. The event was attended by some 400 Mido dealers mostly from China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.

In the past, it used to be that only skilled watchmakers were into the business of producing watches, but lately, even technology companies are dabbling in to the business of making timepieces.
