KUCHING: Christmas came early for 31 Bidayuh families of Kampung Bojong and Kampung Rejoi when their civil suit seeking declaration of native customary rights (NCR) over their ancestral land in upper Bengoh was amicably settled.
A consent order was recorded by High Court judge Datuk Rhodzariah Bujang yesterday, bringing a close to the case which was filed in October 2009.
