ABOUT 2,000 needy pupils in the Klang Valley received essential school items at Educare 2014, an annual charitable project by Siri Jayanti Association and Maha Karuna Foundation.
Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple chief monk B. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera said the project, which was in its 14th year, would benefit 12,000 pupils from 300 government schools and orphanages in Malaysia.
