DBKL repairs and cleans up complex for much-delayed opening

The Tun Sambanthan Complex is set to open next year.

THE multi-million ringgit Moghul-inspired Tun Sambanthan Complex, formerly known as The Pines, in Brickfields is expected to be opened early next year subject to Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) rectifying the sewerage system, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) deputy director-general (Project Implementation and Main-tenance) Datuk Najib Mohd said.

Conceding that the project had been delayed several times due to several glitches, Najib however gave his assurances that the bazaar would be opened early next year.
