FoSIM checks food consignments imported into country

THE country has a strict monitoring system that ensures that imported food products that are deemed unsafe will not reach the people.

Perak Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon (BN-Chenderiang) said the Food Safety Information System of Malaysia (FoSIM) at the respective ports will check the consignments imported into the country.
