Erosion along the logging road leading to Logn Benali. Once the valuable timber are extracted, the loggers will leave behind heavily eroded road that became useless although many interior inhabitants were initially lured by the promise of good connectivity with the outside world.

Closer to Kuching, there is a series of valleys and hills that separate Sarawak’s Batang Ai dam and West Kalimantan. Standing atop of this landscape, you come to the quick realisation that the natural world is truly without borders.
