FOR the longest time, fair-skinned models were held in higher regard in the fashion industry, but newcomer Moganasundari Mahalingam is looking to be among those to defy convention.
The dusky Seremban-born lass won the crown in the Miss Malaysia Indian Global pageant in October; a local pageant that aims to empower young women of Malaysian Indian descent.
