Exhibition marks first anniversary of tragedy in Tacloban

IN CONJUNCTION with the year-end festivities, Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur together with Artiseri Gallery launched the Christmas Charity Art Exhibition recently, to raise funds for the people of Tacloban, in the Philippines.

Themed “Art 2 Heart, Art 2 Hope”, the exhibition was held in remembrance of Tacloban, one of the cities in the Philippines worst-hit by Typhoon Haiyan, marking the first anniversary of the tragedy. Tacloban, the capital of Leyte which bore the brunt of the typhoon is still recovering and its people, are rebuilding their lives.
