Desa Hartamas FC clinched the inaugural Masters Football League after settling for a draw against closest challengers SIC KL in their final match of the season. In a closely-fought finale, both teams were at 2-2 when the match had to be abandoned due to bad weather.
Desa Hartamas FC maintained their unbeaten run in the inaugural Masters Football League having won 15 matches and drawing one. Coming into the match, SIC KL had won 14, drawn one and lost one match and were trailing Desa Hartamas by three points.
