A TOTAL of 223 needy pupils of SRJK (C) Li Tek A and B branches as well as Tadika Heng Ee in Lintang Macallum, Penang, were presented with new school uniforms, socks and white shoes on the last day of school.
The school’s ex-pupil Lee Thuan Chye, who is the Macallum Street 1Malaysia community service team chairman-cum-project organiser, said he managed to raise money to buy 123 sets of school uniforms and shoes after he posted on his Facebook page about his intention to buy the items for needy pupils of the school.
