MALACCA: Twenty-seven firemen of various ranks had their services terminated between January and October this year for misconduct, including involving in crime.
Fire and Rescue Department director-general, Datuk Wan Mohd Nor Ibrahim said there were also firemen who were sacked for drug abuse, being absent from work for seven consecutive days, committing medical chit forgery or making false claims.
