High Court lifts gag order on protest group members

KUANTAN: The gag order imposed on 15 participants of the Himpunan Hijau protest against the Lynas rare earth refinery in June has been lifted by the High Court here.

Judge Justice Ab Karim Ab Rahman ruled that the bail condition prohibiting the 15 accused from discussing court proceedings with a third party was unreasonable and allowed their appeal against it.
