AN impressive 9.14m-high Nautical Ship adorned with streams of fairy lights, colourful ornaments, buoys, ropes and other Christmas decorations is the centrepiece at the Straits Quay Retail Marina (SQRM), marking the beginning of a two-month festive celebration.
At the count of three, SQRM director of group hospitality and lifestyle Michael Saxon and general manager Emily Teh ligh-ted the 7.62m-long ship at the SQRM’s annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony, drawing enthusiastic cheers and applause from the crowd who had turned up to witness the event.
