Year Six pupils shed tears as they part ways

Melancholic feel: SJK (C) Union Year Six pupils giving Tan (middle) a tight hug on the last day of their primary school before embarking on their journey to secondary school.

THE last day of school was a bittersweet one for SJK (C) Union’s Year Six pupils who were weeping openly as they left the school grounds with a heavy heart on the last day of their primary school life.

Goh Jing Wen, Jasmine Ch’ng Xin Jie and Chew Min Yee, all 12, hugged each other and also their class teacher Tan Gaik Ling, as the girls would be pursuing their secondary education at different schools in Penang.
