KUCHING: The state government’s negotiation with Petronas on increasing the oil royalty to 20% is progressing well, with the oil company agreeing on equity and financial allocations as its initial response.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said Petronas had agreed to allocate a 10% equity to the state government in the MLNG Plant Train 9 project.
