MIRI: The Federal Government’s “1Malaysia Wireless Village” initiative to provide wireless Internet facilities for people living in rural and semi-rural villages in Sarawak is not achieving its objective to the fullest, says an Opposition leader.
Sarawak PAS deputy chairman Jofri Jaraiee said many villagers on the outskirts of Miri city cannot enjoy good Internet coverage despite the Government having classified these settlements under the IMalaysia Wireless Village.
