PKR to raise oil royalty issue next week

KUCHING: Questions on the oil royalty issue will be raised by Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How at the State Legislative Assembly sitting which starts next week.

He wants to ask about the progress of discussions with the Federal Government and Petronas on increasing the royalty to 20% and whether the state government plans to set up a Sovereign Wealth Fund to manage its petroleum resources.
