MALACCA: The Malacca District Volleyball Association (MDVA) joined forces with the state level volleyball body to organise a beach volleyball competition held in conjunction with the birthday celebrations of the Yang Di Pertua Negeri Melaka Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Yaakob.
The two-day event held at the Pantai Puteri beachfront in Klebang, raked in an encouraging 32 men’s teams despite a meagre RM1,000 up for grabs as prize money for the top four finishers.
