SIBU: The Sarawak Livestock Breeder Association said it encourages butchers here to slaughter pigs at least six days a week for the benefit of the consumers here.
Its pig sub committee chairman, Dr Ng Siew Thiam said this in response to Metro Sarawak report on Thursday which quoted a phamacist, Kong Kong Hieng Ung as saying that the the public here are finding it inconvenient to buy pork.
