Need more surveillance to curb crime

KUCHING: An Opposition-elected representative is seeking cooperation from the state Government to table a private member’s bill to curb crime by installing more surveillance cameras and increasing community’s crime prevention efforts.

PKR’s Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How said he would need the support of a state Cabinet member in order to have the bill be considered in the next Sarawak Legislative Assembly sitting, which begins Nov 10.
