Living amid the mystic heart of the Cuyabeno Reserve in the Amazonian forest is artist Ramon Piaguaje, who has the masterful ability to capture the subtle depths of the jungle.
Born of the Ecuadorian Secoya indigenous people, the self-taught Piaguaje began his artistic journey in black and white before progressing to the beauty of colours, which was introduced during his education by Catholic missionaries.
