Minister: Farms should be closer together to prevent floods


SIBU: The perennial flood problem faced by vegetable farmers at the west bank will be easier to manage if the farms were located close to each other.

A senior minister, Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh, said despite efforts to overcome the flood problem over a period of time, farmers were still affected by floods as their farms are scattered all over the place.
