No change in PJ assessment rates

For the people: Alinah says the council must be financially innovative and not burden Petaling Jaya residents.

PETALING Jaya mayor Datin Paduka Alinah Ahmad has, for the second time, decided not to raise the city’s assessment rates.

Instead, Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will use earnings from fees imposed on redevelopment of commercial buildings and other services provided, to administer the city.
