Crime cases drop


KUCHING: The crime index in Sarawak has dropped by 6.84% with 468 fewer cases reported so far this year compared with last year.

State police commissioner SDCP Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman said there was a total of 6,371 cases as of Sept 29, a decrease from 6,838 in the same period last year.
