THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) has issued a notice to a tenant of a commercial complex in Bayan Baru to remove an illegal signage erected on the outer wall of the building.

MPPP councillor A. Kumaresan said a check with the council’s Licensing Department showed that the business outlet owner had not obtained any approval from the council to put up the billboard.
