Philanthropist touched by school’s reception doubles cash contribution to RM115,000

TEMERLOH: An impromptu VIP reception put together by the brass band of SMJK Hwa Lian, Mentakab, touched the heart of a philanthropist who instantly doubled the amount donated to the school.

Seng Group of Companies managing director Datuk Seri Dr King Lim Chin Fui had initially pledged an amount of RM50,000 before announcing on-the-spot an additional RM50,000, plus another RM15,000 for the brass band.
