MANY parents are wary about allowing their children to go on thrilling rides at carnivals, especially after an eight-year-old Malaysian girl died in a freak accident in Australia recently.
S. Bavani Devi, 38, a businesswoman, said she would allow her three boys aged between seven and 12 to go for such rides only at theme parks, but never on the temporary ones set up at fun fair grounds.
