THE twinning of the Penang Botanic Gardens and the Itabashi Botanical Gardens in Japan has now entered its 20th year in its effort to leave a better global environment for the future generations.
During the commemoration cere-mony held at the Japanese Garden inside the Penang Botanic Gardens, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the effort to develop both gardens would bring people closer to nature.
