MIRI: The tourism authorities at state and national levels have been urged to attract the 35,000 or more Malaysians working in Brunei to come across the border to Miri City on Sept 16 to celebrate Malaysia Day.
These Malaysians working in the oil-rich sultanate across the Sarawak-Brunei border should be encouraged to partake in this year’s celebration to make the Sept 16 formation of Malaysia anniversary an even grander occasion, hoteliers told Sarawak Metro yesterday.
