Italy’s homely restaurants set benchmark for service and hospitality


THIS summer in mid-July, during our Tuscan holiday, we walked into an unassuming restaurant, Ricordati di Me, in the town of Caprile.

I wrote briefly about this restaurant last July, with its “fresh, real and wholesome food, grown in its own land, prepared simply and deliciously by its chef and owner, Franco in a rustic setting and without fanfare.”
