SIBU: The State Agriculture Ministry is responsive in helping farmers getting better returns from their produce by eliminating middlemen.
Its Assistant Minister, Datuk Sylvester Entri Muran, in speaking at a press conference after declaring open a six-day seminar on Transforming Sarawak Agricultural Section towards 2020, said the ministry together with the state Farmers’ Organisation were still working out on how to help farmers market their produce thereby doing away with middlemen.
