Display of confusion

THIS Friday will be the last chance for Petaling Jaya residents to protest against a controversial amendment being made to the Petaling Jaya Local Plan 1 (RTPJ1) and Petaling Jaya Local Plan 2 (RTPJ2).

These local plans are legal documents that will govern how Petaling Jaya will be developed or preserved, but many residents remain unaware that the exercise is being carried out because the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) only made the documents available for inspection at the lobby of its headquarters or via a download, which does not always work, on the MBPJ website.
