Illegal foreign workers hiding in obscure places to avoid authorities

JOHOR BARU: Jumping off the second floor at a construction site, hiding in empty drums and piles of metal were some of the stunts by foreign workers at a construction site in a desperate attempt to avoid the authorities.

The foreign workers who were busy working at a construction site for a 36-storey complex along Jalan Wong Ah Fook here ran helter-skelter when they saw 70 enforcement personnel approaching the site here recently.
