MALACCA: A police officer with a rank of Inspector has been placed in lock-up in Manila since 2012 purportedly for overstaying in The Philippines.
Insp. Mohd Zafirudin Rasip is still under detention despite his pensioner father forking out his life savings of RM83,000 to secure the release of his son.
