Solar power project to be extended to the urban poor, says Irda

JOHOR BARU: The Iskandar Regional Development Authority (Irda) is planning to extend the solar power project to the urban poor in the economic growth corridor.

Its adviser Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad said the project would be able to generate an additional income to assist them in coping up with the higher living cost in the urban areas.
