Perak state announces target of 14 medals in Malaysia Paralympiad Games

THE Perak government has set a 14-gold medal target for the state’s athletes who will be participating in the 17th Malaysia Paralympiad Games.

State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahya said that it was a realistic target that could be achieved and encouraged the athletes, about 69 of them, to strive hard for it during the games that would be held in Perlis from Aug 19 to 26.
