RM9m market in Batu Ferringhi ready next year

BATU Ferringhi residents in Penang can look forward to a modern double-storey market in a year’s time.

Expected to be completed in June next year, the RM9mil Batu Ferringhi Hawkers and Market Complex will have 16 food and beverages stalls, 28 dry and wet market stalls, a multi-purpose hall with sitting capacity for 600 persons, three badminton courts, a fast food restaurant, a mini library, a cultural room, a community room, an office, a meeting room as well as bicycle parking space.
