WHILE Malaysians sometimes take the rich diversity of their country for granted, one professor from the Middle East has learnt to enjoy the country’s unique integration of an assortment of cultures.

Prof Khalid Al-Khateeb, an Iraqi who teaches at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in Gombak, has been in Malaysia for 14 years.
