KUCHING: Sarawak is gaining popularity as a bird-watching destination among nature lovers, with its variety of species.
Some rarely-seen birds which can be spotted within the Kuching vicinity include the Blue-banded Pitta in Kubah National Park and Borneo Highlands, the Borneo Bristlehead in Matang Wildlife Centre and Kuching Wetlands National Park and the Bornean Barbet in Borneo Highlands.
