Prayers to commemorate flights victims


Bon Voyage: Idris bidding farewell to state-owned Melaka TV's chief Sardy Mahorm who have been selected to be part of the special humanitarian mission to war-torn Gaza. Sardy will be leaving to Palestine by crossing the border via road from Cairo, Egypt on Aug 12.

MALACCA: In an unprecedented move, Malacca government has invited non-Muslims to join a Tahlil session at Al-Alimi mosque MITC in Ayer Keroh, tomorrow.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the prayer event will held to commemorate victims of ill-fated MH17 and MH370 MAS flights with special prayers for Gaza.
