Proposal made to fine them if Aedes mosquito breeding sites found in areas under their jurisdiction


THE Perak government has proposed that fines be issued to local councils whenever Aedes breeding grounds are found in clogged drains and rubbish piles under their jurisdiction.

State Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said clogged drains and rubbish piles were major breeding grounds of the deadly disease.
