Cops detain fruit seller for obstruction of the law


JOHOR BARU: Unable to accept that his fruit stall would be confiscated, a trader started screaming at some 20 enforcement officers from the Johor Baru City Council (MBJB) and even halted them from carrying out their duties.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh said that the incident happened when MBJB officers approached the fruit seller around 11am along Jalan Sutera 2 in Taman Sentosa here on Tuesday.
