JOHOR BARU: A businessman who claimed to be a “Datuk” has been charged with 11 offences relating to fraudulent land sales amounting to RM166,040.
In the first eight charges, Mohd Amin Hew Abdullah, 56, is accused of cheating 50-year-old Wong Seet Leng into handing over eight cheques amounting to RM60,762 for the purchase of a piece of land near the Taman Perling mosque here.
