AN ‘egg-citing’ time was to be had at the Datuk Kong Teng Sin Hooi Temple in Lucky Park, off Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, when devotees celebrated local deity Datuk Tua’s birthday with more than 80,000 red eggs.
Lucky Park Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) chairman Ng Ah Kuah, 68, said the deity’s birthday was celebrated annually on the 26th day of the sixth lunar month.
