Popular sale heads to Ipoh with over 400,000 books up for grabs

AFTER having numerous successful runs in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, BookXcess remains committed to nurture the reading culture among Malaysians by holding its famous Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Ipoh for the first time.

More than 400,000 books covering fiction, non-fiction, children and young adult titles will be on sale.

Also available is a selection of imported non-book items including one-sheet posters, pottery, box sets, collectibles, board games and tin-plated signages,

BookXcess managing director Andrew Yap said the debut was thanks to the overwhelming Facebook page comments requesting for the sale to be held in Ipoh.

“To make this an extraordinary experience for Ipoh’s ardent book fans, we will also be including freshly imported titles that appeal to people of all age groups,” he said.

The sale will feature outstanding titles such as Nicholas Spark’s Holiday Pack, Jodi Picoult’s Change of Heart, John Gray’s Why Mars and Venus Collide, Rachel Renee Russell’s Dork Diaries series, as well as the biography of legendary football coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

Book fans who arrive early in the morning for the sale will enjoy as much as 85% early bird discounts for selected titles and non-book items.

The sale will be held at the Perfect Home Living Convention Centre in Menglembu, from 10am to 10pm daily, from July 24 to July 29.
