KUCHING: A family of six from here perished on board the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which was reportedly shot down over Ukraine and crashed in the Donetsk region late Thursday.
Tambi Jiee, 49, from Kampung Gobielt, his wife Ariza Ghazalee, 47, and their four children — Mohd Afif (19), Mohd Afzal (17), Marsha Azmeena (15) and Mohd Afruz (13) — were on route to Kuala Lumpur after holidaying in Istanbul and Zurich, when tragedy struck.
