KUALA LUMPUR: Miri is the new area that has recorded a moderate Air Pollutant Index (API) reading, joining five others nationwide, namely Bakar Arang, Sungai Petani in Kedah; Pasir Gudang in Johor; Kampung Air Putih in Taiping, Perak; as well as Seberang Jaya 2 and Perai, both in Penang.
As at 7pm yesterday, Miri recorded a reading of 55, while Bakar Arang showed 57 and Pasir Gudang 54.
