NUSAJAYA: The Batu Pahat District Council (MDBP) should take more proactive measures to clean up clogged drains and ditches to prevent flash floods during heavy rains.
Gan Peck Cheng (DAP-Penggaram) said flash floods were normal occurrences in several housing estates and villages in the district due to bad maintenance of drains and ditches by MDBP.
